I met two of my fashion heroes yesterday. When I was in law school, I worked at True Relgion jeans as a legal associate and was inspired to practice fashion law while working there. Jeff Lubell, the CEO of TR had a true passion for denim which helped him persevere through multitudes of roadblocks and eventually led him to turn True Religion into a multi-million dollar denim empire. Through him, I learned to chase my dreams and always embrace my passions. I reunited with my former employer at Project, not as a fashion lawyer, but as a fashion blogger. It was the personification of a full circle coming to a fabulous close! Later in the afternoon, I attended the Catherine Malandrino cocktail reception where I got to chat with the fabulous Ms. Malandrino. She's one of the most classy and chic fashion designers I've ever met and exudes a sense of Parisienne sophistication that's all her own. I love her new Catherine by Catherine Malandrino diffusion line as the designs capture the essence of the Malandrino woman-confident, busy, and always in tune with fashion. What a fashion treat!
